Holy Name Parish Schools commitment to the tradition of excellence in education began in 1953 with the Sisters of Saint Joseph who founded our school. For over 60+ years Holy Name Parish School has shaped the lives of Thousands of young students. Our extensive and rigorous curriculum shapes their hearts and minds providing a solid foundation that enriched with music, art and athletics prepares them to successfully embrace the ever changing world we live in. Our graduates have confidence academically and spiritually (with a strong moral compass) as they leave to attend the most prestigious middle schools, Independent, Catholic and Public Exam schools.

MEASURES OF ACADEMIC PROGRESS (MAP Assessment)

MAP is an assessment that evaluates the unique needs of a student and measures student growth throughout the school year. This allows the teacher to adjust his or her instruction to best suit the needs of the individual student and the class. The valuable information, from the assessment, provides an opportunity to adjust the strategies to support and boost proficiency within the classroom.

Our primary purpose at Holy Name Parish School is to provide an excellent education in a Catholic environment.  Our students will learn to use their gifts and talents academically and to achieve their best.  Holy Name Parish School will guide students so that they may increase their knowledge of the world, of life, and of humankind through the development of their intellectual capabilities.  Our students will develop cognitive, evaluative, and critical skills needed to function as responsible citizens in our society. They will learn to share of themselves in service to others and make a contribution to their community.  Our students strive to look at their world in such a way as to commit themselves to be respectful to others and to respect individual differences.
